Feb 24, 2011 · Hi Everyone, New here so please be gentle I have had the VM Super-Hub in place now for a couple of Months. Works ok but occasionally drops the line and has to be re-booted to get everything back in order. Mar 04, 2018 · However, if you are a Virgin Media internet customer, you may discover that you may not be able to connect to your VPN. This is because VPN is disabled by default through the router. The reason it doesn’t work is because Virgin Media routers (such as Super Hub) are configured for the maximum setting possible on their Firewalls.
Dec 23, 2017 · I cannot fathom the port forwarding on the virgin superhub. On sky I set a service and then let it through the firewall. The superhub has different options on a port forwarding page: Local IP 192.168.0.222 Local start port 22222 Local end port 22222 External start port 22222 External end port 22222 Protocol TCP Enabled I connected the Main Deco by wire to the lower ethernet port of the Virgin SuperHub. First time setup of my Deco M5 it was in Router mode. Easy setup and the mesh seemed to be working ok (or so I thought). The Virgin Superhub was still in router mode so it was possible to connect to the original SSID. I don't have anything to add about the superhub, but regarding the old routers that virgin used to give out (Netgear WGR614), it looks like DD-WRT custom firmware is being worked on for them. The engineer never took the virgin router, and from the sounds of it from other people, they all got to keep theirs also. There are two ways to connect a WPS client device to the Virgin Media Business Super Hub. These are: Pairing by use of the devices WPS button(s) Pairing by entering the WPS PIN codes into the two devices. The first of these will work if both devices each have a WPS button. Next, go to Wan > Internet Access down the left hand side, and set the Access Mode for the WAN port you used to Static or Dynamic IP. In the screenshot below we used WAN 2 again: If the above is all correct and saved, reboot your Super Hub; it'll take around a minute for your Draytek to grab an IP address from your Virgin SuperHub once you've Cable operator Virgin Media (Liberty Global) will shortly start turning their SuperHub broadband routers into public WiFi hotspots so that other customers can access the Internet when nearby (e.g. those passing outside your property), which will mirror the approach that BT similarly takes with their FON enabled HomeHub(s).
