Reason was that MNF speeds were getting slow during peak times and I thought Telstra speeds would be better. Well, I was wrong, and in fact they are worse. As well, ping times to most Sydney speed test servers have gone from 22ms to 28ms. Telstra being super slow? - Telstra ADSL noticed a massive decrease in my Internet speed going from 16meg download speed an 16 ping to 25plus an 2meg download speed. Is it just me or? Contacted Telstra this morning and they had me do a speed test at speedtest.telstra.com and I supposedly get 11Mps download. However, webpages take a long time to load or just time out. A 54MB file took over 4 hours to download. But according to Telstra my connection speed is fine!
