Dec 04, 2010 · Apparently all 02 users with the unlimited internet/WIFI option should be able to connect to BT Openzone wifi spots for free. However whenever I go into a BT Openzone Hotspot my phone connects but there is no internet access. I have to disable the wifi on the phone to get the phone network internet working instead.
When you connect to a bt openzone, the o2 advisor is correct. It will take you either to payment page or to a mobile zone page. Ive connected to a few where i live and it comes up asking me which network im on. I choose o2 and thats it. Dec 03, 2010 · Unfortunately due to BT giving two different types of hot spot the same BT Openzone name means its a bit of a pain. In general i only connect to BT Openzone if i really need to and it doesnt show a BT Fon hot spot at the same time.
